Nurturers of the Earth is a support group for vegetarians. It organizes events, meet-ups and cooking classes for vegetarians and those who want to become vegetarians. There are two types of members: 1. Vegetarians 2. Vegetarians-in-Progress (VIP) The group was started by Nona D. Andaya-Castillo, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2004 when many of her patients as a lactation consultant were told by their doctors to stop breastfeeding because either they were sick or their babies were sick. Wanting to breastfeed, these mothers agreed to change their lifestyles and went into natural healing. Later on, applicants from other sectors have joined the group and attended their events. Please see our story: http://breastfeedingphilippines.com/nurturers.html Indigenous foods abound in the environment, a testimony of God's wisdom and generosity. Nature, with its own rhythm based on the country's climate and seasons creates food that is appropriate for the human body. With its perfect design, it provides the suitable fuel that enhances our bodies' tremendous capacity to nurture, heal and regenerate. Join in promoting and savoring nature's bounty! Nurture our Health! Nurture the Earth! Nona D. Andaya-Castillo, IBCLC Telephone Numbers: (632) 701-4429-30 Mobile Phone: +63-919-839-5555
